To clarify "NONE of these Steel Battalion pics are mine." This is a compilation of almost every Vertical Tank concept art, or wallpaper from the game Steel Battalion. The VT designers names are Junji Okubo, who did the original work, and Sawaki takeyasu who did the sequel (also did Okami).
My intent is to show off their designs to the mecha fanatics who know little else besides Gundam, Mech Assault, Chrome Hounds, and Armored Core. Maybe have a few people will be inspired by their completely unique designs and approach to the "Mecha" art-form. As well as to draw interest to the ultimate mech game, Steel Battalion: Line of Contact.

I thought this would be better than giving out my photobucket account or creating a myspace. Most of my artwork is what i did in highschool back in the Berkshires Massachusetts. Thats right, I'm New Englander from the shire. The rest is photographs of me or my dog, as well as a work in progress "Advanced Tactical Maneuvers" for the game Steel Battalion. It brings the Napoleon out of me.
I tried to give an anecdotal account for each picture.

It is also very hard to find many of them online because they're scattered across English and Japanese sites. Some i couldn't find though.

Oh, that's too bad. DeviantArt isn't really for displaying other people's work, too. D: And I really don't know where else you could store these online. Nobody offers space for copyright-protected works. Thanks so much for sharing though, I think I'll look up that game someday. The designs are really different!
